The Public Works Department provides the required maintenance of all roads and sidewalks, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water mains, lanes, parking lots, ditches, bridges, etc. They pick-up garbage and maintain sanitary landfills and recycling operations.

Effective May 8, 2009 the Kamiskotia landfill site will be open.

Acceptable Waste Collection Cans


A reminder that the maximum volume for a waste collection can acceptable for curbside pickup is less than 128 litres and a maximum of 20 kg.
